CERI 2014

The Spanish Conference on Information Retrieval stems from the realization that a relevant research and business activity in the field has taken shape in Spain in the last few years, as is attested by the significant presence of Spanish researchers in the main scientific fora, and a raising corporate activity in the field.

The 3rd Spanish Conference on Information Retrieval will be held at the Computer Science Faculty of the University of A Coruña on 19 and 20 June 2014. The conference aims to be a meeting forum for researchers, practitioners, and teaching professionals with an interest for the Information Retrieval field, where an overview of the activity in the scope of (though not necessarily restricted to) Spain can be obtained, seeking to provide a get-together for discussion and progress of future initiatives towards the promotion of IR especially in Spain.
